Suggested prompt...

Consider a scenario of why you are on this tram.
Now write creatively using that idea.

I was trying to prove to myself that I had courage, that day. On the tram, high above everything and looking down at the rocks below me.

Who was I trying to fool? Me, all by myself, proving courage to who? And why?

I've always been afraid of heights. I suppose that I was annoyed; sick and tired with this fear that took over me, out of control in those moments. I thought I could overcome it by way of force.

So, here I am...on this tram, all alone and scared to death. Somebody, anybody; please help me.

Simply Heather

One week after the photo or picture is posted I will pick one offering to put beneath the image. This is a way of celebrating exceptional creativity. Any and all posts are available for your creative mind to make an offering at any time (even ones where a writing has been placed on the front page like this one). If you are new here and want to offer to every image here, feel free. We are writers, WRITE! If this is your exceptional writing posted here on the Front Page Pictures, Poetry & Prose invites you to include the Exceptional Writing Award Button on your blog. Visit the Exceptional Writing Award post for the details and the button to download.

If you think this sucks
--flat, uninspiring, and dull
you're wrong. Just a lull.

Time to think not why
But how I got here today
Dangling in the sky.

I could kill that kid
who begged me to climb aboard
for the photo-op.

He said the great view
Was the grandest from the top.
We were almost there, too.

We hung in the air
Just dangling there helplessly
I took this damn shot

And hurled my guts out.

So there. Have a good laugh.

WOW...thank you, and really - I am glad to have had this opportunity, because I know right now...you will not find me up there. I've already experienced it in words of thought :).
